Finally made it up there with my new boat. Stayed overnight at Dunes State Park Campground. First time trolling on Lake Michigan. On the water with my son by 10:30 AM Wed and 8 AM Thu. Headed straight out to 3 corners and fished 90-120 FOW. Six lines out. Two planers with 10 color and 5 color lead core loaded with dodgers and Howie Flies; two dipsy divers down 70ft, one with a flasher chrome/blue Storm ThunderStick lure and the other with a flasher and a spoon. Also had 2 weighted flat lines out with flashers and spoons. All bright colors. Marked very few fish and only had a few possible hits. Finally had one on mid-morning on Thu that hit the Thunderstick but broke the treble hook off at the base before we could boat it. Pretty poor showing but boy was it beautiful out there both days and what a great learning experience.

Made it out tonight 09-15 from 4PM-7PM. Surface temp in channel was 73-74 and out in front out to 30 fow 69-70. We did not have any hits. Another gentleman at the ramp said he had a hit. He also said a bass fisherman caught a nice Chinook on a crank bait. That is the best I have. Hopefully morning improves.
