Trying to avoid the crowds I decided to head out around noon launched out of Pastrick n shot to Gary light only 3 boats inside with zero fish, I made two passes picked up n ran to the shipping canal trolled around for a couple hrs with ZERO BITES. Picked up again n ran to the hole in the wall n trolled all the way to the ramp with no hits wrapped it up n came home:sick: Was wondering if anyone did any good by the mouth of the ditch? I’m off tomorrow n really don’t wanna run all the way to Gary again, thanks for any reply’s

Only fished until 9:00 am but it was pretty slow today at Burns Ditch....we went 3 for 3 and I didn't see another fish netted..however I did see the guys fishing on shore doing pretty well.

Shipping canal was good. Charter boat netted 3-4 every pass by the mud line. Mixed bag so adjust depths accordingly

I was at Gary during the snow and got 7. Things definitely changed when the sun came out!

I might have been trolling with you in the canal - my wife and I headed to the Canal from Hammond about 1:30 and left when the winds shifted about 3:30. Had two hits (one a nice fish) but that was it. Had a hard time getting my speed down so had to troll with the actual trolling motor - once I got down to the 2.0 mark is when I got some hits. I did see some fish but not a ton on the fish finder. Figure they got beat up too much on Saturday.

I hit the same spots from 10-3 fishing by myself in a brown tiller.... same results two hits no fishes... next time.....

I went to the ditch today caught 9 coho from 7-12 am 35-45 behind boards with a 3/4 ounce weight with red thindfish all the hits were ONLY ON BOARDS!!!! Only 2 hits on 4 flatlines!!!! Good luck n thanks for the reply’s
