Got to the lake around 8:00 out to the wreck got set up was one for two everybody was doing well up till then thought i would do well given
the start then it went dead for me had one other on just before i quit at 1:30

Thanks for the report Dale. We had to leave by 10:30 today.

I launched at about 10 and went out to the gong but no one was there. Only had about an hour to fish so dropped a couple lines but didn't get a bite. Hope to get out Saturday morning but that will depend on weather.

We started out looking for perch at Cal-Park this morning, gave it about 2.5hrs with nothing to show, talked to several boats, 1 had 2 perch. We heard the chatter on the radio and checked the radar and headed off shore. Not sure the exact numbers, but we had good action from about 9:30-11:30. We dropped lines in 50ft, N/W of the gong and headed pretty much east. Staying just north of the pack out of EC. Fish came in flurries, pretty much my worst landing percentage ever finished 6/10, 11, 1??? All coho, riggers at 30 and 40 with SS mixed veg and d/f 8" and 6" dodgers got hit, braid at 60 took fish, wire at 80 had 1 swing and miss. Boards were slow, but we got hit on 5/8oz keel weight, 5 color and 8 colors. Thanks for the guys who have been putting up the info.

I'm not sure what the problem was for many. On my boat the action was pretty darned steady all morning and we had a great catch. Others in the area basically sucked though we were all sharing information. It may have been a speed thing. We caught fish going in all directions but our north trolls seemed more productive than south. Size of flies? I did best on 3 inchers but had a couple of 1 1/2 inchers that held their own. Maybe some of the captains need to get new lucky fishing hats.

The hat must have been it mine blew off on the way out did not try to go get it then i realized my sunglasses were on my hat lol
