The storm potential almost scared us off but we proceeded and they never materialized. Fished from 6-9pm offshore. went 4/4 - 3 coho and a laker. All fish came in 100-110 FOW between 6:30 and 7:30. Marked more fish by far and away than at any point this year but they werent having any of it apparently.

Nice job! Glad to hear you made it out I made the decision to play it safe those storms where nasty coming across Iowa and Illinois but then died off here well there is always next time

We saw the storms coming also so instesd of running to the gong we started in 50 fow in front of the ditch and trolled a 315 heading. Set lines at 6:15 and fished til 8:30. 6 for 6, 5 on dodger and fly , 1 on slider.
251 Proline. 7.4 litre. Bravo III

I have drove over many fish over the years trying to get to deep water sometimes it takes the weather to hold u back and a little luck never hurts

I also failed to mention I had a rook on the boat and he got a taste of LM fishing and I think he quite enjoyed himself even though we caught nothing of size.
