TOPIC:

Got out this morning out of EC. Hit the water about 7:30 and missed two early on while setting lines. One guy got a king right as we were getting started so I thought it might be a good day. Not as many boats out as I was anticipating but there were plenty. Got one in the boat after not too long and then it was sloooooow. Talked to another southender and found they were running a little faster so kicked it up from 2.0 or so to about 2.6. got another small one the tucked in behind Angry and Kick'r since they were doing good and just past the hole in the wall I got a double on. with two people in the boat it was a wild ride and were doing our best to land the fish and not cut off angry(dang winds). we got them in and decided to do one more pass. Got a shaker on the last pass and was able to free him and watch him swim off. Ended with the 4 for 6 + the shaker. Had other obligations we had to get home for and it seemed the fishing kind of died again so went in. everything was hitting on the Coho crusher but we got one on a thin fish (not the normal red but I don't know what it is called). At the ramp the boat next to us said they had two nice kings and one guy at the cleaning station had a nice king so they are out there. Overall a good day but slow.
