So i wish i could get on these Saturday mornings but i work so after a little nap i was able to get on the water at 3:30. Heard that yellows were the hot color at the cleaning station so I scraped my plan of running all red/ black squiggles and put on some firetiger, and the blue back yellow orange squiggles then a couple red.
I ran everything off my boards, 55 back, no sinker, at 2.2. Ended up going 4 for 5 from 3:30 to 7 pm. Wouldn't you know it everything came off the red and black squiggles for me,lol. Mostly running a bit out from the wall up to second light. Did a spin in front of the inland steel wall with nothing going on out there.
New to this southend fishing and really enjoying myself and meeting some real good people too. Thanks for all the help i get here too.

yea its funny how different things can be hot / cold for different boats this time of year. Thin fins, especially red / black squiggle are a staple for me this time of year......and yet this year they are doing almost nothing for me. I talk to others and its their best bait - so go figure lol.
Boatless!

That is something, red and black squiggles has taken all my fish this year with the exception of 1 firetiger and one orange J 11. Not that I have alot of fish but it's still 9-2 red squiggles.
