Started in front of Baldy and went west in 60 ft 50 ft down, trolled all the way to the pink house in Beverly Shores. Picked up one coho about 4#, and lost two fish as well. Turned back to the easterly troll and raised riggers to 40 ft 15# king almost as soon as we raised them. Lost two more fish one on a full lead and one on a full copper. Did get another 4# coho as we went past Baldy again. All fish hit green and blue dolphins, speed was 2.8 to 3.0. guess I need to sharpen or replace my hooks. All in all was a great day on the lake.

We had the same route on 5/24. Went 9/12. Blue green worked as you mentioned. Our black peanut fly with a red head was on fire as well. Tight lines.............

I took a walk along the pier to the lighthouse with the family on Sunday at about 3PM. There were many Skamanians caught. They probably made up most of the catch that we looked at. Shrimp under a bobber. This rain should have pods staging and runnning in alternating cycles. The big run is usually end of June and first of week of July so was surprised.

Your right does seem early. That is one of my favorite places to shore fish and species. Catching them on spinning gear never gets old.
