TOPIC:

Took the grandkids out for a short afternoon fishing trip. We started fishing around 2 PM and quit by 5 PM. Went straight north out of the ditch to 63FOW. Started a East troll at 2.7 SOG. I put out 2 DRs at 55 feet down and 45 feet down. With free sliders and used spoons on the DRs. I had 2 dipsy diver rods out at 40 foot down with dodger and fly and a J-13. Also put out two flat lines on planer boards with 1 1/2 ounce keel weights one with a spoon the other with a red artie. We ended up going 3 for 4 . All Fish came on D R‘s with green spoons. This was my granddaughter’s first trip out fishing. Had a surface temperature of 65° and the cottonwoods are starting to get bad. But still a great day.
