Don't think I've seen you this year. Wondered if you or the ol' Bayliner had sunk over the winter. Nice catch! One of these days I'm going to dig out the Brads and give them a whirl once again. I have no confidence in them and you can't fish happy with a no-confidence lure in the water.

Thanks Mike only my second trip out haven’t sunk yet! Running the brads with a meat rig paddle not clean. Works on steelhead too.

What caused your distaste for the tuna baits? They consistently work for me. I only remember one time they did not produce for me. But nothing was working and I brought back a skunk that trip. My only one so far. I prefer the Super Bait over the Cut Plug. Give them another shot. Try the patterns Mountain Doo, Rotten Banana, and Hotter Tamale. Moderator Bob will tell you the same thing they do work. The only issue with them I have with them is they are somewhat breakable if you step on one or or are careless when removing one from the fish.
My Searunner 190, "Four "D's" and a "C". Retirement money well spent.

I like the Superbait in glow frog pattern - been a go to bait on my boat for awhile now. I stuff them with tuna in oil and use them behind a Spin Doctor or Fishcatcher attractor and have caught every species of salmon and trout on this setup.

What's the difference between the Cut Plug and the Super Bait?
