Got out this morning and went 2 for 2 on Steelhead. One was 5lb and the other 10 - he was on the skinny side - thought for sure he had more weight on him.

Nice job. Where did you get them, what depth at and what did they hit on (if you don't mind sharing)?

Hey Ed - I will post the when and where tomorrow or sunday after the tournament. I have a plan dialed up (not that I am sure its going to work lol) . The big fish hit on a glow spoon down deep and the other on a gold and orange spoon closer to the surface. It was the only two hits I had all day. No pattern I could draw from.

Overall I think the fish were in a funk today. chatter on the radio all sounded the same....tough day. It was the only two hits I had in 6 hours of fishing. I would tend to think it should be better tomorrow.......and hopefully I dont get a skunk for saying that ;)

A buddy of mine was out today and did 2 for 7 but said some of the other boats did a lot better. I will not make the tourney this time (too early morning after traveling all week) but plan to get out around 6:30 or so. Still trying to pin point some of the POIs that guys are hitting on. Good luck in the tourney tomorrow. I just hope to maybe hook into a king finally but I am happy with the Ho's too.
