Thinking about trying to fish out of the Joe tomorrow. I was just wondering what depth ya'll would expect the steel to be in.

Woody, they should be right out in front of the Joe. Cranks and spoons in various colors should produce. Try all depths til you start getting some. Have you watched the ST. Joe camera to see how many are fishing in front? There is a good mud line out in front of the Joe. Heard yesterday that rapalas in orange were pretty hot.

good action in front of the joe last weekend from talking to some boats at the harbor and also by walking the pier seen a few caught. I got one in 75 fow last Saturday and know of a couple boats who put a nice box of them together the same morning....made me kick myself a little that I went out deep instead.

That can all change in a hurry though as the fish arn't staging but rather going straight up the river since the river has been high all year.
