Trolled 10 rods for 4 hrs with one hit on a rigger at the mouth. Don't even know what it was. The Steelies were not goIng today. I still think there's more to show up, just gotta catch it right.

When I was a kid there was a musical group called "Jerry and the Dreamers." Gerry, you are dreaming! There's never been a big push of steelhead nearshore this late in the season that I know of. Just one here one there.

I hope there's a little push tomorrow, however. I'm taking a couple and their 3 year old and 1 1/2 month old on a "mini" charter tomorrow afternoon after my morning run. Only an hour or hour and a half before the diapers need changing. I'll be making a mini-set up for steel.

If this works out I may install a changing station and start marketing to toddlers!

Come on BN the top of the cooler will make a great changing station. There are a few steelies around but the major runs are probably over thanks to all the rain we have had in the last month, but my food plots are doing well.

Seems like the lake is full of surprises this year - maybe another? Probably not but who knows.

I've proven that wrong before....but main run is usually over by now. It's been a weird year, had to try, especially when I couldn't go deep.
