Told my wife I was considering heading out for an evening troll and she asked if she could come along. No brainier, off we went! Watched the parade of weekend warriors headed back up the ditch as we headed out, ran out to 50' of water and set lines in the muddy plume.

We trolled out to the cleaner water and headed northwest out to 60'. Marked a few bait balls in the top 1/3 of the water column so set lines accordingly. Trolled through a group of bait clouds four times in different directions, changing speed and swapping lures with no success. Started a troll back to port and dropped a downrigger to near bottom just because.

Ended up with a small King from near the bottom on a black/orange/yellow "classic" spoon and a nice Coho on a Hunter Boys red tiger j9 on three colors LC. We had the lake to ourselves (and the blackflies) at sunset and were the last truck out of the launch.
