Got a late start Sat afternoon. A stop at Tackle Haven which ended in alot of new gear and off to the ramp. Headed out at 3 pm and fished till 9 pm. Went 3 for 4 king, coho and laker for the the nite. King came on a green dolphin spin doctor with a green big weenie fly at 125 back on mag dipsy 3 setting no ring. One impressed young boy all smiles. :woohoo: Coho on medium size orange j-plug 125 back with #2 tapole. Laker on rigger 110 down 120 fow custom spin glo. Another win with a happy girl. :) Ended with a happy and hungry crew. Found late nite pizza a few hours of shut eye and up before light.
Sunday morning headed out at 6 am starting in 130 fow went 3 for 4 again. Picked up small laker and two coho. Caught at 100 fow 80 to 90 down. Pulled lines at 12:30 pm. We all a great weekend on the big pond! B)

Yup, that a steelie alright. Good job and nice report. I don't know that program over there. I've been to tackle haven 2x but it's been awhile.
Crooked Eye, isn't there a launch right by Tackle Haven on the river? And wondering, how far out are you going to reach 100 fow ?

Dnr launch is right across the street. 5 miles or less to 100 fow and 10 miles exactly to 200 fow on a 270 heading.

Launch right by tackle haven limited parking. For $5 a day you can go to the St Joe city launch across the river. They have an awesome cleaning station, scaler, bathrooms and good parking. Police patrol the lot also. If going out river stay to the right deeper and marked with bouy. Approx. 20 min. out to lake. Coast Guard was doing random boat safety checks. Heads up if you haven't check your flare dates or fire ext. lately. They were doing paperwork for a boat when we went by. As stated 100 fow 5 miles and drops off from there. --tight lines--
