TOPIC:

After waiting to see if it was going to storm or not, we Went out of East Chicago around 3:30 in the afternoon yesterday. The weather was great out there, water was nice and flat, so we ran up to the Michigan, Illinois line. Put 6 lines in at 80 fow and it didn't take long. Caught a coho on a wire diver- UV Meat rig. The next coho came in on a 225 copper- weasel spoon. Another ho on a ten color- orange dodger, blue/green fly. Then we had another hit a monkey puke slider, got off once it surfaced. And our last fish cam in on the ten color- dodger fly. All the fish were ho's.

Ended up with 2 drive by's and a whole lotta nothing in the last hour, pulled lines at 7:30 and cruised in. Turned out to be a nice night out there, and the only traffic was a couple yachts heading to Chicago after the MC boat show.
