Launched out of EC at 5 this morning. Just 2 of us running 6 rods went 9 for 13. 2 nice natural kings. 2 steel, 5 coho.

Put rods in at 55 fow north of the wreck and ran in the pack of boats for a while. After picking up 6, we hit a dry spell so trolled off NE to 80 fow and picked up 3 more on the way.

The best rod by far was a UV meat rig on a wire diver back 110'. Which is odd because everyone on the radio said meat wasn't doing a thing. That took 5 fish and lost another 3. All the other fish come on different things, one on a 225 copper and a spoon(forgot what kind). Froggy spin doctor/fly on a wire Diver. Kevorkian and lemon ice spoons

on sliders caught fish....

All in all a great day with great weather.

Dirtyx, one of the coho coughed up a really nice ale when we landed it. Some of the fish had nothing in their stomachs. And others had ales, and tiny perch inside them. Last week, we counted 25 tiny perch in one coho.

I was just telling bob a similar story today. Got a coho a week and a half ago or so and he was full of baby perch.
