Set lines at 5AM in 70 fow. Temp break was 55' down. Set up 4 riggers, 2 dipseys and half and full cores. First fish hit SWR down 60 and peeled line towards chicago, awesome battle, unfortunately came unbuttoned. The next couple fish were big slob greasers. One on swr, and the other on flasher/fly on dipsey. Next fish was a nice king on glow J-plug off rigger set at 30. As morning progressed, switched over to some meat rigs and changed out some spoons, but all we could get was laker city. Pulled lines at 9:30 after going 5 for 7. We did mark quite a few fish, and some nice bait areas. Marked alot of fish in the 25' range. I presume steelies or cohos, but other than the one king, couldnt get anything to fire on those high out of temp fish. Tried slow, fast, mags, slims, etc hoping to get a few more silver fish. Probably could've caught more lakers if that's your game by lowering some baits, but having to keep 4 was...well 4 to many. Trying to attach a few pics. Whoever started the argument that lakers don't eat alewives is dead wrong,as picture will show. Lakers are doing quite well munching away on ales!!
Laker on the boat scale was 17 lbs..we had 3 others in the lower to mid teens as well..like pulling in an anchor.. :P

Nice job on the Kings.

We fished MC this evening and went 5-7 with 2 trout, 2 steel and 1 prince. Out of those 5 fish not one baitfish in their stomachs. The big laker hit a meat rig on a wire diver and peeled 180' of line. Thought for sure we had a big King. 107 was our best depth.

Nice work - at least fishing has been somewhat decent lately. Hope it continues :)

We also set lines at 630 am straight out. Pulled them at 2 pm. Best water was between 90 and 105 feet of water. Ended up going 6 for 10 with 4 Lakers (15 lb largest), 1 10 lb King and 1 6 lb Steelhead. First hit came on flasher fly set 125 back for a 5lb Laker. Other 5 fish came on the same down rigger set 80 feet deep on a SilverStreak Blue Green Dolphin spoon.

Had 2 hits on a 250 copper with a Red George spoon that we missed. Could not get any other rods to fire. Strange day with the same rod always hitting but at least we ended up with some action.
