Got a late start out of NB yesterday AM. Took a 330 out of harbor and sat down in about 90fow. Set lines and my brother hooked up pretty quickly with a FAT laker. Came on the 300 copper with a black J-plug with green ladderback. He was nearly as thick as the humidity! Trolled along on a NNW troll out to around 110fow and picked up a steelie. Steelhead came on a rigger 47 down on a watermelon spoon. Made a turn and worked back into 60ish fow but everything petered out. We ended up going 2 for 4 (the other two were quick releases) before heading in to try some perch fishing. Ended up picking up 6 decent perch in the 30-35fow range. Good (but blazin' hot) day on the water!
