There's still some lake trout around nearshore. Most of the salmon are at or near the surface, but if you want to have a big fish or two on the line, put a spoon, big dodger/fly or spin n glow down close to the bottom and catch a laker or two. (Might nab your first king of the season, as well.  I fished out of EC the last couple days and took trout on both dodger/glows and a Flounder-pounder Moonshine spoon along with some cohos on the usual stuff up top.

The lakers this year have been loving my 100 copper w/ mag flounder pounder.  Sort of an unorthodox setup for the spring but it’s been a great change of pace to pull those big pigs off the bottom.
