Back from vacation and hoping to get out on Saturday. With the few times I have been out this year I am far from dialed in. Doesn't seem like there are any reports from the Ditch. Anything happening from there or are folks putting in there and running?

They are still catching fish by the wreck. I'm heading there Saturday morning.

If you have Michigan tags the 105 feet of water contour from the 9s on east has been a steady producer of trout, steel and the occasional salmon.

I tried between the gong and the wreck last Friday afternoon for a couple of hours without success. I'll try it again Saturday morning on your recommendation, bob. Any suggestions on depth?

When these guys are saying close to the wreck they are actually going several miles north of the wreck. You need to be at least 48 north in the 22s or 23s to be in the zone. Fish on north to 50 or 51. This will have you in 50 to almost 70 FOW. The fish there are way out of temperature so fish from 30 to the bottom until you find something that works. Spoons and meat rigs are the hot baits.

Thanks Bob, I might give you a shout on 68 when we get out that way if that is OK. We won't be the first boat out by any means but will head that direction. I suspect there will be quite a pack out there that we will stay on the fringes of.
