Making my annual Mother's Day Week at North Point with some friends. Success is usually good and has been. But the cohos deserted the area when we arrived and are still boogying to somewhere else. Caught 9 coho on Tuesday, 4 on Wednesday and zero yesterday. A couple steelheads in the mix and fairly good laker action.  Talked to several guys and listened to what little radio chatter happens anymore and most were just like us or worse.  

Still, a fun trip with good friends is always a success. 

Heading to the Detroit River on Sunday.  That will be a first for me.
