Went 7/8 in 90-125’. 2coho, the rest lakers.  Never marked any bait, tons of flies, they weren't biting this morning at least!  Riggers down 79-75’ took lakers, 7 & 5 color core took coho as well. Was hoping for more silver!  Ran small flasher/fly combos for coho, lake trout ate them too.

Thanks for the report.  I went out mid day out of portage, tons of small flies, non biting but damn if they werent annoying!

Sounds very similar to us. We got 8 trout and two coho. Fished about 4 miles north of Indiana line . Riggers were best for us . Took one coho on 6 color and one on rigger on the bottom. Fish were scattered seemed like and marked basically zero bait . 85-120 feet

fun day regardless! I think you could fill the boat with trout every time out if ya wanted. 

10 color was best for us, but a variety of rods went off.  We did mark some bait here and there.  Some pods 80' to the bottom, others 60' to the bottom.  Not a ton, but it was there.

I was watching the cottonwood forming snow drifts today outside the clinic window on my lunch break day dreaming about cleaning it off my lines. Flies, cottonwood, and Lakers on the long lines... gotta love sumner lol

What the others said about flies and trout. We only managed one "silver" fish, but it was a whopper!  Put it on the scale and it drug the needle well over the 30 mark. We are calling it 31 pounds.  I almost took a cooler pic of it, tail all curled in the box resting on a bed of lake trout. The boy caught it and they are planning a replica for it.  39" and 12' top to bottom at the front of the dorsal.
