Launched out of Portage with LUND and another fellow fisher person yesterday and ran to Gary. Some small ice pieces floating but really clear from the ditch to Gary overall, started casting the inside of the wall, all of us either had fish on or had some decent strikes but only LUND landed a fish casting, a brown, around 23-24” on a blue and silver KO Wobbler. Spent some more time casting but weren’t doing much, so decided to set lines and troll inside the wall. Had some yellow birds out with Brad’s ThinFish as well as a couple pure flatlines out the back of the boat, also with some ThinFish. Ended up landing five fish and missed or lost another 7 or so. Three browns from 18-23/24 inches and two perfect water size coho, around 17-18 inches. Red with black squiggles took most of the fish. Felt great to get back out. Good luck and be safe out there, that water is awfully cold, 33/34-40 degrees depending how close to the discharge you were.
