Got on the water early today and there were boats lined up like a parade heading out of the ditch.
Started at USS break wall, nothing happening for me,saw 3-4 fish caught, headed back toward the ditch zigzagging between 10 and 16 ft,ended up going 3 for 6 with one breaking off at the boat,my fault for not retying after the second fish on that rod.
Blue/silver shad rap and a bay rat coho crusher got all the hits this morning.
Didn't mind losing the coho so much as the $9.00 shad rap it took with it,hopefully it falls out and the fish will be fine.
Lots of boats, tournament I heard after I got back to the ramp, some guys I met said EC was on fire this morning they had a 4 man.
Good Luck out there and be safe.

Steve:  heard you on the radio a few times this spring but I was either too far or too busy to get back to you. I've not fished to the east much.  Good luck with the new hip.  So what kind of planning is this?  Right in the middle of the spring fishing season?  That seems like poor planning.
