Headed down the ditch at 545 with a huge dilema, stay in and see if there are any Big Kings around or head to the Flemish Cap and dredge the bottom, what a choice. Since it was well before daylight and the speed limit 10mph I took a brief look around the mouth and did not see much so kept on chugging towards the cap and my usual numbers. Ended up 8-12 with 6 kings and 2 Steelhead. Kings were all 2yr olds, 2 clipped 4 not. Lost 2 steelhead, 1 nice laker and 1 probably another small king. best bait was #3 pearl Jplug on 200 copper, Laker on 150 copper with same plug. spoons, red dodger/ blue fly on a 5 color, riggers 45-80 65 being best, and spoon 110 the lone dipsey hit. UV seemed to be the ticket with the overcast morning. Temp break was at 45ft and seemed to get warmer deeper, surface temp out of the ditch was 68.

On a side note, did mark several bait balls and hit fish near them for a change. a couple bait balls stretched from 25-50ft and about handball size on the graph.

Reports from the north are the fish are running about 3-4 weeks late maybe there is still hope but I did not see one mature salmon hit the deck today, hopefully I just ran over them.

2.1-2.4 at the ball, currents were a little weird as waves were changing direction 2.3 was probably the best.
