I know its not the south end but for my first time ever with a friend of mine we decided to target salmon out of Milwaukee yesterday. We wound up with 7 coho and 2 brown trout, we were pulling flicker shads 60 -90 feet back and dispy divers with spoons 30' leaders and about another 30' of line out 1.8-2.2. it was a little rough at the launch first thing, we were outside the harbor down a little south.

Good job, we gave it a go Tuesday evening after work in Milwaukee.  Marked plenty by the river mouth and along the wall but nothing snapping.  Hoping for some better weekend weather to get back at it.

we were outside the rock / break wall south of the river we did see boats all over and quite a few looked like they were heading south towards the power plant. i think we saw Larry Smith fishing south of us if he still fishes out of a Warrior. we pretty much stayed in 18-30' of water and ran some boards to within 20' of the wall, most fish came between the gaps.
