Good morning!

We fished on the 21st out of Michigan City.  We got to the launch at 6am but couldn't launch because of a couple boats ahead of us which took for ever .
Anyway we went out and fished from 7am to 2pm. We setup In 40 fow just outside the outer break wall and headed west. The plan was to troll pasted the pink house but a friend said he was catching fish in front of the blue water tower east of the port so we trolled that way. Fishing was very slow for us. We ended up with 5 coho and had 5 that came off. Rasta Goose on a 120 ft copper.

We fished fished yesterday 5/23 out of City in the water and set up by 6:30am. We decided to head west again because we heard people getting limits on Sunday in front of the A-frame. Within 5 minutes we had our first fish then our second in 40 fow. We talked about turning around and going back through that area but we stuck to our plan. Again it was very slow for us. We made it to the pink house and had 4 coho and a couple that got off. We talked to several people fishing from the A-frame to Portage and they went having any luck so we turned back and trolled towards the harbor. Got in front of cooling tower and caught a fish and had one that got off. We trolled pasted the Harbor and hooked a king on a green dipsy with green Jean's and it twisted and turned all the way to the boat. Got to the back of the boat and came off! We pulled lines at 2pm and went in.

The big schools of coho have moved and I'm guessing they've moved out into deeper water.

Planning to wait until next week to go out again.

Our plan for our next trip is to try and get to the launch at 5:30 and fish in front of the harbor for 2 hours then pull lines and head out to 75 fow and troll out. We'll fine tune this plan as new information becomes available.

We had 5 coho and missed 6. It was very slow for everyone we talked to on the radio.
