6/1 Fished 4:30-9:30 fishing the state line in Indiana waters.  Went 5/10, all coho.  All hits came in the first couple hours and then died once the sun came out.   Had a real nice king rip on a 7c, submerged our board multiple times, jumped and almost spooled us and then just like that popped off.

All our fish came on ss spoons.  Pretty much all hits came on green.  Came on a mixture of downriggers down 55, dipseys out about 50-70 and 5c-9c.

6/3 Fished state line again from 4:30-9:30 and went 8/18 all coho (also got a 13 inch perch on a 9c).  A lot of quick hits today and once the sun started to really come up around 8:30 the bite died again.

Most of our hits came on ss spoons again with one on a spindoctor fly, anything green being hot again.  Dipsys out 60 with spoons were best with our cores and downrigger taking a few hits.

Thanks for the report.....
Just wondering- seeing as the bite dies when the sun comes out, does it  pick up at say 4 o'clock  into dusk? Or is the water already heated up enough that you have to wait until morning?
Just trying to see if it's worth going out in the afternoon if I can't do early morning,  thanks

Thanks for the information! Great job! Congratulations! One thing we found out on 5/31 as the sun came up we had to keep trolling out to continue getting hits. Cottonwood was our biggest problem. We lost 11 fish because we had mono backer on our coppers and that crap hung on to the mono like glue. By the time we got if off the fish would be gone.

My guess is, with the full moon phase last week, that may have been why a lot of those fish were acting goofy and not necessarily on their normal biting routines.
