TOPIC:

Hit the lake at 4am Monday and was trolling East from the light towards the corner in about 30' of water. Spent the rest of the morning washing lures and looping around through 30-50 feet and between the corner and the Portage light. Marked quite a few wolf packs in 30 early and they drifted out deeper as the sun came up. The marks tended to be between 15' and 25' all day.  A few drivebys, but not a single hookup. I didn't see any nets in the water as things got busy, but left once I saw the first jet ski at 8:30. Got skunked, but there were definitely some big fish in the area. I hope someone had better luck.

I was surprised how many fish I marked in 30' of water in front of the beach, from the pavilion all the way back to portage. Thanks for the report, hopefully they get going soon
