TOPIC:

Went to MC Friday with my son and his friend.  Cold, windy, rough.  It was a little better around south of the mouth.  Ended 4/6 coho in around 4 hrs.  Orange spoon, orange mag lip, and orange/yellow squiggles thin fish.  3-4 other boats out there as well, not sure how they did.  We launched at Washington park. Sand was a bit of an obstacle to getting the trailer deep enough, but not bad.  

NB this morning.  Much calmer water fortunately. 
We ended with a cooler full, coho and 1 steelhead.  Slow start, but once we found them, we kept circling through and picking them off.  All the usuals were getting hit. 1-2 on flies, a few on a random green/gold spoon on a slider, a few on fire tiger, 1-2 on gold/black, rest on orange crank baits.  8-10 boats out there. 

 

Launched around 11:30 a.m. in portage, 3/24/24
started right out of the ditch, heading west. had 2 of 6 rods set, fish on. 38 FOW, 2.3 mph, with a lead of 30. Pulling purple, orange and red Brad  Thin fins. We fished with 9 coho and a brown. All of an hour. Staying in 38-40 fow. Great day, even with the wind. Good luck!
