TOPIC:

Headed out around 6am and there were already 15+ boats ahead of me.  Wanting to test out my new trolling motor and graph I shot out to 57’ to scan the flats for perch. Jigged for a couple hours and caught 5. Only 2 other boats came out that way. Made my way to the Gary light area and setup for trolling. 3 planer boards, 2 thin fins and 1 shad rap7.  Made one pass along the steel wall and around the inner lighthouse area. Landed my limit of coho in about an hour. Lost a nice brown at the back of the boat. SOG 2.2-2.6  and all the fish were really good quality. It’s nice when they bury the board and take a little drag!  These winds have been brutal but it was worth getting out for a couple hours. Be safe out there
