Set lines by 2:00, off by 5:30 or so. Didn’t see another boat the entire time. Fished 25-50 FOW. Varies speed from 2.25-3. We didn’t mark a whole lot. Ended with a nice 11lb laker and 3 coho. Lost one or two and tossed back a 12” coho. Laker came on cow bells and a spin and glow. Coho came on black and gold j-11, dodger-fly, and orange spoon. My hopes were high going out. Had heard things were picking up again.
It was a beautiful day out with the best visibility of Chicago that I’ve seen from new buffalo. You could almost see the entire south end.
