TOPIC:

Started setting lines around 7:30 in 80’ of water straight out.   Trolled north to 120’. I picked up one in 85’ and another coming back in around 115.  Lost the double (I was solo).  I trolled in to around 95 and then picked up and ran in to 80’ and kept heading in.  I had some bouncing on my rigger, was going to check debris as I knew it was near bottom.  I could feel a fish , but I couldn’t release it.  I could feel it sliding up the rigger cable.  I had to reel in the rigger 10’ then my line.  Got it up to the surface with the coho still on the slider.   Got it in the boat and then realized there was another coho back on the fly.  Somehow my line was in the split ring on the snubber.  I had to hand line 30’ in and got the second coho.  It was a little chaotic for a bit.  Ended around 1:00 with a king and 3 coho.   Marked a lot more fish and bait in around 75’ than out deeper.
