Looking at the weather it was calling for less that 1ft the night before and all day on the 31st so we decided to give it a try.
( I always put a patch behind my ear for seasickness no matter how calm its going to be)

Got to Washington Park launch at 5:45 am and left the port by 6:15 am and trolled out passed the break walls then came up on plain and ran out to second 60 fow and set lines. (It definitely wasn't 1 ft or less! Had 1 to two's with whitewater and building. Had to troll on a north heading to keep from getting beat to death!)

At 65ft a dypsi hit but gone, kept trolling out but the further out went went the rougher it was and I started feeling bad!  I thought, that's odd so I reached up and felt behind my ear and my patch was gone. That spelled trouble for me. 70 Dow and I'm getting sick but we keep trolling! 72 Dow and  the same dypsi goes off with a nice Coho, then a 240 copper. 73 fow the other dypsi has a hit and a miss but one of the guys picks up the rod and wham another hit so he sets the hook and the fish is gone so he reels it in and I tell him that the fly was gone so he reels it in and sure enough the fly was gone. Hes messing with that rod and another fish hits  but gone. So back to the dypsi. Well the fish that hit the fly cut 30# test of about 4 inches before the dodger.

All this is going on and I'm really sick!

74 Dow and we had fought another fish and missed a couple more.

From 74 to 84 Dow never had a hit!

My son looks at me and says: Dad, we need to go in, you dont look good and the others agreed so we went in and I drove home and got in bed. I never got out of bed except once. Nothing helped! Finally at 10:15 pm my wife brings me a cold and flu hot packet and I drink that and slept until 7 am this morning!

I still feel really bad but a little better so theres hope.

Dodger/fly were the best with spoons coming in second.  We only fished  a little less than an hour. I knew if I could have turned around and gone back over those numbers we could have had our 4 person limit very quickly.

As far as the fish that cut the fly off, I'm assuming it was a big Steelhead or a bigger king because if was gone instantly and the line was chewed up really bad.

Hope this helps!
