Ran out of the ditch at a 345 heading with intentions of setting up at the state line.  On our way out in Indiana waters we came across a large raft of cormorants and gulls.  Slowed down to see what was on the graph and sure enough it was pretty thick with bait.  Stayed close to there all night while creeping out to 75 fow a little later.  Lots of bait glued to the bottom until sundown when it started to suspend upward.  6/12 total on coho- would have liked to see a higher landing rate but they kept getting unpinned 50' behind the boat.  Flasher flies did most of the work- blue bubble, UV slick, red dodgers too.  Somewhere out there is a big coho with a UV slick flasher still in its mouth- bent the swivel off my dipsy.  I kept the riggers fairly deep since that's where our bigger marks were, but we still picked up a lot of coho in the 30-40' range of baits- dipsies out 70-80' did a lot of work.  White and blue seem to be the hot color as of late.  2.3 at the ball worked best but felt like there was a lot of current and temp variation out there.  All around beautiful night to be out.

Good to hear they are still there! Nice work and thanks for the report. Temp break still around 40 down? What dipseys are you running, reg or mags?

Regular dipsies but mag on the wire.  Wire out 90 had the UV slick on and took a couple as well.

There really isn't much of a temp break- seems more gradual.  Roughly 63 on top and 54 on the bottom.  Just kept moving in and out of colder/warmer pockets throughout the night.
