Morning run in the SE/S wind which is always deceiving until you get about 5 miles out and the waves start to build.  Some solid 3' out there so stuck with trolling with the waves then would pick up the two man spread of 6 rods and motor back.  Rinse and repeat.  Stayed around the 45/13 area, only a couple of boats out.  Bait was strong early and then fled the area as the morning progressed.  Went 7 for 14 with 6 chunky coho and a laker.  Had some very frustrating terminal tackle issues of which we have not seen in some time resulting in lost fish, apparently got a bad batch of swivels.  Moonshine green goby on the rigger down 55' was very good for the second outing in a row. Works as well as a slider too.  South wind really bringing up the cold water and had under 50 degree temps 65' down.  If that continues and the bait sticks around could be the saving grace to a hot week/weekend!

Losing fish on tackle is frustrating but good job battling the elements.

Well done despite the terminal issues. We set down at 6am and decided to just turn back in and try for steelhead. Went from "this isn't so bad" to "did i just come that close to stuffing the bow?" in a hurry.
