North out of harbor 6am. set up 80', probe saying 45 to 52 degree water down 60'. 5 color orange dodger blue green fly 10# steelhead, 200 copper moonshine spoon 8# steelhead, Downrigger down 60' dreamweaver spoon 17# king, 300 steel double pearl paddle with pickled sunshine fly 10# king, 5 color 2nd steelhead 5#. 5 other releases short bursts and gone.
Colder water was shallower??. Brother and his grandson had pretty good day. Marginal biting flys at end. Cooperative lake no chumming. Bites between 85-105', king on 300 steel we were bullish*tting showing his grandson how to run pro troll and autopilot, wound up out in 145' water when that went off. Saw lots of boats in shallower that never came out so ?? Saw some perching going on when we ran back in. Didn't see anybody at cleaning station to confirm or deny any assumptions. Appreciate all recent reports to narrow down a starting point for an enjoyable day.
