Wet. Trolled around the port from 6-noon, rained till about 10 1030 relentless. Anyways picked up 8 coho and lost the only king bite on a coho crusher flat line, ripped the back hooks out... most coho came on cranks flat lines and free slider small warrior spoon main line down 32. Only 1 hit on dodger fly all day.  Couldn't buy another king bite. 

Also caught a bush on rigger...thought it was a massive king at first. 



 

Is that an original Bay Rat or a new one from Dreamweaver...?
I had the same problem with a couple of the original ones...the fish do love them...!
Hope Dreamweaver improves the quality of them

Good work! Wet day on the water is better than a dry day at work. 

I hear ya on that rain. Watched lightning flashes on the way up and spent the first hour in the parking lot. The heavy stuff seemed to dissipate as it came eastward, but it was a constant pissy rain most of the morning. At least you caught some fish!!

We've done pretty good out of Portage. 7 kings yesterday and 5 today. Some coho mixed in also
