We fished NP on Saturday and managed a full box. Video is up on our YouTube channel with whole report... We drove back that afternoon and headed to Whitehall that same afternoon for some Kings. That video isn't done yet. (Please check back). We probably started too shallow so the time we found them the sun was up pretty good despite the early start. Still ended up with 4 kings and a few coho. Always exciting and nerve racking fishing a new port, especially in the dark. I've trained my son and his buddy to get early starts. I am very blessed now for it. The boys pulled a third day with one of my buddies while I took a break. Ha!

Is it worth fishing out of Portage/EC this time of year or wait a few more weeks for skamania?

Portage is usually pretty solid till the middle of July. Then the silver fish migrate to Michigan and after that its spotty for the rest of the year usually.

I actually have. I also thought about taking a trip with extra gas from Ludington to Manitowoc on a really nice day. Someday...
