Trolled around yesterday dodging the ice and no luck. Lots of ice still and limited room to troll outside the harbor. Marked plenty of fish, but I think the water is still a bit cold for them to chase lures, 34F. People on the pier fishing spawn on the bottom were getting a few. Thanks. It was pretty peaceful out there. You could here the ice moving and tons of ducks I have never seen before. But yeah, definitely needs to warm up again. We are several weeks from things really taking off up here.

Went out today south of pumping station for a few hours this afternoon. Fished from 10fow to 35fow. Marked a lot of fish in the 20-25fow range. No takers though. Water temp was around 38 degrees. I think the water is a bit cool up here yet. Maybe another couple weeks before the real bite.

Shouldnt be long now. I think the weather is on the mend

Anyone do any good out of St. Joe today? I fished for about 4 hours, 10-2pm and no hits at all. Fished from piers north past rocky gap 8fow-25fow. Never saw one boat land one. around 12pm trolled along north pier. Dead flat and water was much warmer. Pier fisherman were killing them fishing spawn. No takers trolling
