Since all my meat rigs are put away for the season I can't help there much. I can say that I fish them alot anymore, and fish them on riggers and dipseys. There are those days when the flasher seems to help make a difference but just my thoughts, its the scent of the meat that the fish target more then anything. I feel strongly on that point. The fish have been moving alot the last few years. Bait is at a very low percentage. How far can these fish smell scent/bait from? How far can curent carry the scent of a school of bait? All I can say along those questions is my fishing like many others was based during the summer, from the wreck, and northwest from the wreck. The current in that area is strong, south to north. I watched the bait move up and down the western shorline last season. It is my thoughts now that these fish can and are following the major portion of the bait over many, many miles of shoreline.
I am going to have some heads painted in glow paint for this year and give those a try.
The flasher that I may have had the best luck with for consistent catches from day to day would be the black momba by John King. The rest of the rig is fairly easy to make once you have the heads.

The bottom 3 are the ones I used most of last year. My favorite way to run them is on a deep wire dipsy. I must say that the last two years meat has been slow for me.
