Was able to get out this morning on Fishersofmen with Steve & my bro Tony. Caught our limit. 11 coho, 3 brown, & 1 laker. Made our way to Gary Light through a little bit of spotty ice. Just had to go slow. We trolled all morning. Bite started around 9:00. Red & orange was the key. Most came on down riggers. Had a blast !!! Was surprised there wasn't more boats out. Three boats casting & three trolling. Coho seem a little bigger than last year. Empty bellies.

Coho 2-3 lbs. Browns 2-4 lbs. Laker 5 lbs. They all looked pretty healthy.

What baits were using on the riggers Steve? Were thin fins/fish taking any hits? I am looking forward to getting up there. Too bad for me I have to get a new starting battery for the boat. The Cabela brand battery that came with the boat did not last very long. Any suggestions on whose to buy?

Rapala crawfish, orange was best, orange/ brown pretty good also. Pink fire tiger took its fair share. Nothing on dodger/fly.
Red thinfin took a couple. We probably missed 6 fish.
