Made it out to Gary light this morning. We boxed 6 coho and probably released as many. Thin fins and green/black spoons took most of the fish today.

We also made it out today, but don't blame us for taking all the fish! We ended up boxing 1 and releasing 3. As always better days to come (hopefully). Thinn Finns were the only thing that had any action. Rudey

Was out today also. Caught 9 ho's. Pink Tigers & Perch Taildancers. Nice smooth day on the lake. I don't think the Coho's are in yet. What do you guys think? We were catching them four at a time last year. Nice talking to you today a Bob.

Nice talking to you too Steve. Yeah they just do not seem to be there in any numbers yet. The lake was really nice this morning.

We decided not to join the combat fishing and stayed east. We tried some deeper water to see if we could find any lone kings or lakers - nada. The area around the donut was a ice minefield. Ended up with 3 around the port entrance area. Got 2 on flatline flicker shads, one on dodger & fly, and lost a screamer on a dodger & fly.

Talked to a guy on the dock. He said he got to gary light at 7am and was casting - guessing he beat the trollers. They had 13 including a 10lb brown.

I know when the barge came in and went back out it really moved some of the ice around. I'm not sure if it effected the fishing any, because it never got fast and furious for us. On our way back to the Ditch we took the long route and went around the north end of the floating ice shelf and was surprised at the fish we marked in the 42 to 47 FOW range. Looks like several days next week with rain predicted, wait and see. Rudey
