Was not able to get out this weekend, but I see it was a rough time "catching" on the pond! I'm heading to search for some lakers this afternoon and have heard of possible areas as the shoals, gong, etc....Has anyone out deep seen a thermocline yet? Curious because the laker reports this weekend says they were suspended 10-20 feet off the bottom. Current plan is to head north out of the Ditch and start trolling at 60 FOW and keep heading North to about 90 FOW. The shoals and gong might be to far for a quick afternoon trip. Has anyone been out deep yet this year? I'll post a report tonight!

Tim and I shot out from 60 to 100 on saturday out of st. joe and the only thing we saw was bottom lol
There is no thermocline, just some surface water that is warming at this point. Fish can pretty much be anywhere.

Nothing! Set up 5 miles East of the Gong, trolled to and round the gong and nothing. Same lures as many previous years. Oh well I try again Thursday hopefully....
