I have been fishing the Big Lake for Many , Many , yrs. My trolling setups are mostly 20# Mono . I have had very good luck with Berkley Big Game ( clear ) ,,, I'm looking for a Bulk spool ( 2800 yrds. ) ,,, I have accumulated Bass Pro points and cards , NOW it seems they don't stock that anymore .   

My question is ,,, What other BRANDS do yall use , that would come in 20# clear ,,,

Smoke color works well in 20lb. I've had it on a rigger for a couple of years with good results. If that's the case on bass pro and big game then idk what they are thinking. They lose so much of mine and others big lake business because they are not in tune with their local market it's crazy.

To say , I was disappointed , would be an Understatement .  I went home and scoured the web site also . Maybe I mis spoke , but , even on their web it was not available ,,,  Anyone ever use Ande Line ?? 

You can save your points for something else and get it thru Walmart.com - 2600 yds for @ $33 - just a suggestion . I noticed that BPS no longer had it on their shelves

On the Wildkat 2 we ran Ande 20# for years. I don't remember any issues. I use 40# for my flies.

I used to run green Ande 16 and 20lbs with no issues.  Switched to braid with fluorocarbon leaders and very happy with that as well.

We use 20# clear mono Ande line. That's all we use for our main lines.
