Hey guys I am wondering what onboard chargers you are using and if you like them and how long you have had them. I currently have another bad minkota mk460pc this will be my third one in 4 years but it’s now out of warranty. It will take a lot to get me back on minkota’s side. I know 3 people now other than myself that have had nothing but problems with them. Just looking to try and not by another flawed charger for 500 bucks. I also run agm batteries. Thanks guys. I’m looking hard at the dual pro ss4 thoughts?

Dont those things come with a 3 year warranty? 3rd one if 4 years sucks. I believe had the "digital" instead of the precision. Never had a hiccup in the 5 years I owned my stratos.

If I were you I would call them up and pitch a bitch - they just might take care of you. Ask them why you are having so many issues - maybe another model is a better choice - not sure.

My first one was replaced under warranty about 6 months after I bought my boat this one lasted 3 years and 3 months. I’ve called them they told me to switch the leads to different batteries to see the the error code changes banks. I know it won’t since they are less than 6 months old and are operating perfectly. Believe me when I call back I will be tearing into them with my smart ass comments. Was yours a 4 bank charger jeff.

Hey Pirate, I put a 3 bank Cabela pro series in my Searunner. Fully automatic and all Cabela branded gear has a lifetime warranty with it. My 3 bank charges all wet and agm batteries. Mine of course is new so I cannot vouch for its longevity but it seems to be a good buy. Much cheaper than a minnkota.
My Searunner 190, "Four "D's" and a "C". Retirement money well spent.

Thank you Don but it appears they only make a 3 bank charger I need a 4 bank and I don’t have the space for 2- two bank chargers other wise they look like a good buy.

The 4 bank charger they sell is a Promariner Tournament 360. It is a bit pricey at 430 bucks. Limited lifetime warranty also. Looks like it will do everything for your batteries except wire them up.

I was having Charger and Battery issues on my Smokercraft when I added the second trolling motor battery. I bought the Cabelas 3 bank Pro Series charger and am very happy with the results for the past year and a half. With the smart technology they are using on load shifting my batteries have been giving me the performance I was expecting. I would recommend the Cabelas system if they have the 4 Bank that you are looking for.
