I'm not going to be out, but I am sure a few guys will brave it. Its probably doable but it will be pretty rough - not something I would prefer to be out in, especially with the cold water temps.

heading to the st. Joe to fish for some walleye. Brother in law fished it earlier this week and caught over 40 fish, brought home 6 keepers. Hope we can get it going again tomorrow morning !

Good luck its a great walleye river. Try between eagle pointe harbor and the hospital bridge. Grade A walleye ground there.

Is that in Indiana? I would like to find a good place to catch some "eyes".

That is michigan 2 miles from the lake. You can launch at the dnr launch in benton harbor or the city of st joe launch. Both close.

gotcha. Not sure when season opener was. Just pointing out some good areas I know. Can have 40+ boats there on that stretch during the opener.

I’ve never fished it, he went with a charter on Wednesday. I do know it was Indiana water and they fished right under a damn in the South Bend area. The boat launch was just a little ways down river by a golf course that I don’t remember the name of. I’m just gonna wake up tomorrow morning at 4 and get in the truck lol:P I’ll make a post tomorrow afternoon with better info and let ya guys know how we did.
