The Feb/March issue of Great Lakes Angler magazine is out. For those of you non-subscribers, the items I test drive for the Tackle and Toys column can be seen at www.fishgear.reviews.
Feel free to click up this site and take a look. The latest reviews start with the Popticals Sunglasses in the menu at the top of the page.
Have fun!

No idea what you meant to type when you wrote "Dipsey Nates." (I'm not dissing you, I type on the cracks as often as on the keys, myself.)

The easiest thing is to use a stout rubber band. See photo. I use this technique on mono or braid. On wire, I have a snap at the end of line and just take off the whole diver. When moving from spot to spot, I just drop either the diver and leader or just the leader.in the cooler with the fish and just keep the lid shut, Stay's pretty tangle free since it's out of the wind. I store the leaders between trips on Tackle Tamers.

Sorry I mean Dipsey mate. Witch is actually still wrong know looking at what I was talking about.

They are called leader mates. (See attached photo)
I have seen a couple different things like this that seem like a good idea. As of right know I use some computer wire ties and they kinda work but still have to remove leaders from dipsey. Much like your doing.

Thanks for the info!!
