Standard colors or create your own. UV paint work with a clear coat that the fish cannot penetrate. Only way to lose a Hunter Boys paint job is to lose the bait.

I've been using Hunter Boys painted lures for several years now. The "orange, black squiggles color is always hot, the white with hot orange squiggles is perhaps my second favorite. I don't know if they will be painting some of their Bass Magnets (I think that's the name, Ed can correct if not) but those were absolute killers last spring. Easily equal to the Thinfins. Hey-ohhh! Who ever thought they'd hear me say that? Orange with black squiggles - of course.

Hunter Boys will be sending a dozen of the Bass Magnets for the morning of the spring contest.

They will be selling these along with others, New in box Rapala J-9's, J-11's, J-13's for the 2020 season. Hunter Boys came on as one of the first sponsors for the Southend site, and have faithfully been painting for many of the Southenders.

We have all bought baits thinking that should be good, only to be stocked into the not that good slot in our tackle boxes. Turn those baits into proven fish taker colors. Flicker Shads, Bass Magnets,Pre Rapala Thinfins, Rapalas.

The Bass Magnets moved into the salmon season just last year 2019. When Captains like Brother Nature says "hey these are hot" ,,, they are.
2020 should be big for the Bass Magnet and maybe we need to rename it, but when other stuff started to slow down the Bass Magnets quickly moved into the #1 slot.

I told my customers they were the "Coho Craw" since they were made on a crawfish body. I don't for a minute think the cohos thought they were crayfish, but I don't really care if they thought they were Tootsie Pops as long as they bit them. I think it's the action which is likely similar to other proven lures such as Tadpollies, Jensen Hotspots, Yakima MagLips and the like.

Spring 2019 was my first season running Hunter Boys lures. Took my first king of the season on one of their hand crafted lures. The magnets work very well in the ice cold water at slower speeds. The paint work is second to none and will hold up for many years. Looking forward to their 2020 line up.

Really Nice baits Ed. Hunter Boys does great work. Years ago Bass Magnet had a Salmon Series (Salmon Magnet) that the Coho liked, mostly painted in fluorescent colors. With the new paint they'll be hard to beat. Can never have enough custom Thin Fins..

Sorry if this has been covered but do you just sent them the lures that you want painted? What is approximate cost per bait? Is there a minimum?
