heading out of portage tomorrow with a late start in hopes to get a newbie on there first LM fish. I have been fishing northpoint lately and have not been out of portage for a minute. Any suggestions? Flashers, spoons? Area of depth?

Few steelies showing up at the ditch...offshore bite is pretty far out! Troll some spoons and body baits in close.

I agree with gcundercover. I was out yesterday between 80-100 and went 2/5. Three were coho but we but in 5 hours.

I decided to go out of Waukegan. Mostly because I changed up to that side about a month ago and felt b I had a better shot.

I went 10 for 14. 3 lakers and the rest are nice size coho! It was a late start but I found out fast that silver fly on almost any flasher at the lower water column level was hot.

Couple strong screamers that I lost. So kings might have been around. Just did not have good luck on that end
